10-1aIf XAI is applicable, have you reviewed the application of the technique to explain the inference results of the AI model?• AI system with deep learning technology has outstanding performance but low explainability. Since this can lead to a low conviction on the model’s inference result as well as low reliability of the overall system, a basis must be prepared for users to accept the model’s inference result.
• As a way to secure the basis of AI model inference results, you can consider introducing XAI through the analysis of model input factors, model internals, explanatory variables, and surrogate models, which can visualize and present the basis of inference results to users.
• XAI is still being developed to secure the explainability of AI models. It is crucial to analyze the pros and cons of the applicable AI model and the XAI technique before adopting the technology to select the appropriate technique for explanation.
